This page is to showcase work I have done on my own and working with other companies. The first item is a work sample from completing the Google Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Certification. The next two items are from my internship with Materion Technical Materials in Lincoln, R.I., both of which are examples of graphic design work. The last three items are from working with a mentor during my senior year of high school with The Valley Breeze, a local newspaper.

Materion EHS Safety Signs

These signs were created to update a safety initiative Materion Technical Materials (Lincoln, RI) had in place. There are 8 principles in the Safety Pledge and I created a poster for each principle to post around the work floor. The purpose of this was to recapture employees' attention about safety awareness by creating a new format for the information. Clicking the image will show all 8 poster designs for the campaign.

Materion Rattlesnake Campaign

I created these posters for Materion Technical Materials Rattlesnake Campaign. "Rattlesnakes" was a term created to refer to any unsafe equipment or situation while on the production floor, particularly, loose metal coils. The company wanted employees to report any unsafe equipment or situations, so these signs were created to be eye-catching and engaging. For this article, I interviewed committee members from the class of 1968 from North Smithfield High School to talk about the upcoming 50th graduation from the high school. I worked with staff writers at The Valley Breeze to help organize the information.

For this article, I interviewed the principal of the high school and the facilities director about the upcoming renovations planned. I also worked with the staff writer and editor writing the article.

This was the first article I wrote for The Valley Breeze. I created and distributed a survey throughout the high school, asking about students' social media use. I sorted through the results and wrote a news article while working with a staff writer.
